The average pre works building energy rating (BER) was a D2, the average post works BER is a B2 with the average uplift of over 153kWh per unit.

Upgrade measures to houses and apartments included:

Attic Insulation and roof ventilation,
Wall insulation-cavities pumped. Background & permanent ventilation installed where required.
Full windows & doors replacement throughout
Installation of new air to water heat pump
Installation of solid fuel stoves
LED lightbulbs & Energy Monitor

Upgrade measures to creche and office facility included:

New air to water heat pump installed in the main office

Glendallon consists of 57no houses and is located in Ballytivnan, Sligo. The average pre works building energy rating (BER) was a D2 the average post works BER is a B2, with the average uplift of over 155kWh per unit. The dwellings had previously upgraded the insulation to the attic and had the walls pumped.
